Position Summary:
The Surgical Oncologist coordinates a course of treatment for patients with a variety of benign and malignant disease while working with an inter-disciplinary team of general surgeons, plastic surgeons, radiologists, medical oncologists, radiation oncologists, pathologists, nurses, pharmacists and other ancillary professionals. The Surgical Oncologist will act as an expert in the diagnosis and preoperative, operative, and postoperative treatment of malignant disease. May occasionally be required to perform general surgery.
