Job Description
Position Highlights:
Dual-site oversight (one active clinic and one new opening)
15-bed outpatient oncology unit, averaging 30 patients daily
Responsible for approximately 20 FTEs
Monday–Friday schedule, no weekends
Responsibilities:
Provide strategic and clinical leadership for surgical oncology nursing operations
Ensure adherence to nursing standards, clinical outcomes, and regulatory compliance
Drive a culture of safety, accountability, and patient-centered care
Oversee patient throughput, care coordination, and interdisciplinary collaboration
Ensure staff scheduling aligns with patient needs and budget guidelines
Manage supply usage and operational expenses with a focus on cost control
Foster team engagement and improve the patient experience through evidence-based practices
Qualifications
Active RN license (TX or compact)
Bachelors Degree in Nursing required
Minimum 1 year of healthcare leadership experience required
Oncology Chemotherapy Certification required
BLS certification required
