Looking for a Part-Time Spa Receptionist/Front Desk Assistant to work at our small Boutique Massage and Float Spa. Position requires weekend hours, 2 evening shifts and possibly a day shift during the week. Shifts are either 9:30 am to 3pm or 3-8:30 pm (most weekdays we do close at 6pm) Total hours vary from 15-20 hours per week. You will mainly work independently and sometimes supporting a massage therapist. This is a friendly, low-stress, work environment but I do need someone who is very responsible and conscientious since you are working alone. Most times you will only be working with one to two clients at any given appointment. Our weekends and holidays do get busy so I need someone who can handle the front desk check out as well as prep and clean rooms. Ideal candidate should be interested in the wellness industry and be willing to learn about and experience floatation therapy before being hired. Responsibilities include answering the phone and booking appointments using our scheduling software (mindbodyonline), greeting clients and answering questions about our services, keeping the spa clean and tidy, assisting the massage therapist and in-house laundry. We do follow strict COVID protocols to protect our clients and staff so cleaning and sanitizing is very very important! If you are not comfortable cleaning up after clients including wiping shower floors then please do not apply for the job. Would prefer someone with spa receptionist experience but customer service or retail background is very helpful. I am willing to train the right person if it's the right fit for both of us. Starting salary at $13 per hour plus tips and can raise hourly rate after a year with us.
