Crumps Landing is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Sushi Chef (Sushi Roller) to join our high-energy waterfront team. This position is focused on sushi preparation and execution and is ideal for someone who takes pride in consistency, presentation, speed, and food safety.

Position Summary
The Sushi Chef is responsible for preparing sushi rolls, sashimi, nigiri, and specialty items according to Crumps Landing recipes and standards. This role requires precision, cleanliness, strong knife skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare sushi rolls, nigiri, sashimi, and specialty rolls to company specifications
Maintain consistent portioning and presentation standards
Prep fish, vegetables, sauces, and sushi rice daily
Follow proper food safety, storage, and sanitation procedures
Maintain a clean and organized sushi station at all times
Communicate clearly with expo, kitchen team, and servers
Assist with inventory rotation and minimizing waste
Handle high-volume service while maintaining quality and speed
Qualifications
Previous sushi rolling experience preferred
Strong knife skills and attention to detail
Knowledge of sushi rice preparation and seafood handling
Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays
Team-oriented with a positive attitude
Able to stand for extended periods and work in a fast-paced environment
