  • Responsibilities

    As a Social Media Contractor, you'll play a pivotal role in driving engagement and visibility across various channels. Your responsibilities include crafting compelling social media copy for weekly editorial articles and sponsored content, planning and executing promotional strategies for webinars, managing event campaigns, and creating engaging posts for reports and guides. Working closely with our staff liaison, you'll ensure seamless integration with overall marketing goals, providing regular updates and incorporating feedback to optimize our social media presence for maximum impact.

    Essential functions and responsibilities:

    Weekly Editorial & Sponsored Articles:

    • Craft social media copy for weekly editorial and sponsored articles.
    • Schedule and post editorial content as it's released.
    • Share 7-20 articles per week.

    Webinar Promo Planning:

    • Develop a promotional content calendar for 3 weeks of social advertising per webinar.
    • Write engaging social media copy and schedule posts.

    Event Campaigns:

    • Create compelling social media copy and schedule 1-2 posts per week for Spring and Fall Conferences, with occasional additional campaigns.
    • Execute media partnership social media posts as per contracted agreements.

    Reports and Guides:

    • Write captivating social media copy and schedule posts for SB Reports and Guidebooks released throughout the year.

    Working with SB Staff:

    • Collaborate closely with the SB staff liaison to ensure alignment with overall marketing strategies and messaging.
    • Provide regular updates on social media content plans, including scheduling and performance metrics.
    • Incorporate feedback from the staff liaison to optimize social media campaigns and initiatives for maximum impact and effectiveness.

    This recruitment is to fill a Term-Limited Temporary position at 10 hours a week that is anticipated to end in December 2024.
