Seeking candidates for Patient Financial Services Representative opportunities with our healthcare client in Hemet, CA.

Summary:

Under the direction of the Government Supervisor, the Biller will be responsible for processing all secondary hard copy billing and follow up of all inpatient and outpatient Medi-Medi hospital claims.

Responsible for timely and accurate billings.

Follows up on all accounts from billing to zero balance.

Maintains all logs in a timely and accurate manner.

Adjudicates all Help letters asking for additional information.

Monitors reports to ensure that all claims transmit on a daily basis.

Manually bills claims that are rejected in electronic transmissions on a daily basis.

Requirements:
Must have a minimum of 1 year of acute care hospital billing and follow-up experience

HS Diploma or equivalent preferred

Must have knowledge of MediCal billing and follow-guidelines.
