  • Responsibilities

    We are looking for an individual to work onsite primarily with one of our K-12 schools. The day-to-day role will include working 1:1 with teachers and other school staff to repair hardware such as laptops, desktops, and projectors. The role will also troubleshoot issues with software such as Google Workspace and other K-12-specific applications.

    The individual will have the support of a complete IT team that includes both virtual and in-person team members to meet the goals and needs of the school.

    HELP DESK TECHNICIAN RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Providing support to users by responding and resolving their trouble tickets.

    • Installing and configuring hardware and software components.

    • Troubleshooting hardware and software issues.

    • Repairing or replacing damaged hardware.

    • Upgrading the entire system to enable compatible software on all computers.

    • Installing and upgrading anti-virus software to ensure security at the user level.

    • Performing tests and evaluations of new software and hardware.

    • Establishing good relationships with all departments and colleagues.

    • Managing technical documentation.

    HELP DESK TECHNICIAN REQUIREMENTS:

    • 2+ years of experience in IT Help Desk, tech support or other related fields.

    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

    • Attention to detail.

    • Effective problem-solving skills.

    This job would require having your own transportation and going to different job sites throughout the week, mileage reimbursement included.
