    Job Description

    THE COMPANY

    Svagos Technik (The Company) is a technology venture based in Santa Clara, California, and registered in Delaware, USA. It is backed by a well-known investor in the global renewable energy sector. Svagos Technik intends to develop Silicon on Insulator (SOI) substrates at a very low cost of production for various electronic applications using its proprietary Chemical Vapor Deposition (CVD) technology. The technology platform offers cross-functional opportunities in semiconductor silicon processing and flexibility to develop various products, such as epitaxial SiC substrates. The company intends to expand its development operations into High Volume Manufacturing (HVM) and to enter the market via IPO in the long term.

    TITLE: FINANCIAL ANALYST

     

    As a Financial Business Analyst in the Svagos Team, you will be extremely visible across all functions and have significant exposure to the leadership team and the Investors. In this role, you will become the primary stakeholder for preparing Board reports, developing financial models, providing financial consulting and strategic support to senior management. The role will give you a strong understanding of the key risks and opportunities facing a business that is expanding rapidly, making it an excellent platform to make a significant contribution to the business.

    You will need a positive outlook, the ability to embrace a new challenge, a strong analytical skill set, and high attention to detail.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    · Assist in and drive execution of all strategic decisions and programs run from the President’s Office

    • Undertake number crunching, financial analysis and financial modelling as required for decision making
    • Undertake program management and/or stakeholder management of various projects

    · Fund raising / investment management

    • Prepare relevant material for fund raising, conduct financial and other analysis of various fund-raising opportunities and prepare contract(s)/relevant documentation
    • Be the primary resource for undertaking all relevant techno/commercial analysis to as may be required from a financial or strategic partnership perspective
    • Assume responsibility for preparation of all internal and external marketing materials/analyses/decks as may be required to support potential transactions
    • Lead interactions with counter party teams and support deal negotiations, Due Diligence, Deal Structuring etc.

    · Interact and work with senior leaders on a continuous basis to pull together all analysis/materials needed by the President and Board of Svagos Technik for smooth operations/growth of the company

    · Take lead in driving operational performance across all functions/departments of Svagos Technik – prepare and create all relevant analysis, benchmarks, data collations etc. to achieve these objectives

    · Assist in maintaining a clear oversight of the company’s progress against milestones, deviations from business plan, adherence to budget etc. that shall enable senior leadership in strategic decision making

    · Help in conducting various Business Review/performance processes such as monthly review meetings, quarterly/annual board meetings etc.

    · Ensure timely delivery of requisite output from external consultants for any key strategy/operational or fundraising projects. As well as manage communication/relationship with consultants/3rd party agencies

    · Take lead on conducting industry research, market mapping, competitor analyses etc. to assist in identifying new opportunities and ensuring risk mitigation of the company

    · Be a touch point for the Board of the company for all deliverables from data mining to preparation of marketing materials

    QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS

    · Banking, Management Consulting or similar background with 5+ Years of relevant experience

    · Strong financial modelling and analytical skills with the ability to create robust financial/valuation models from scratch in relatively short times while maintaining high quality

    · Solid presentation making skills and ability to present information concisely and insightfully to senior management. Should be able to create relevant insights and defend views in high level meetings (at the senior management or Board level)

    · Must have had experience of working closely with senior leaders/management in previous organizations – should be able to handle tough/high pressure situations wisely and tactfully

    · Self-starter and strong organizational skills must including ability to arrange, manage and drive meetings with senior management and external stakeholders

    · Familiarity with legal documents and terminology used in normal business activities (NDAs, contracts, various kinds of agreements (either of operational/transactional nature) etc. would be an added advantage

    · End-to-end exposure to equity/debt raise, refinancing, cross-border M&A would be highly preferred
