As a Manager you will support and manage the daily operations of our restaurant in conjunction with the General Manager. The Manager will be responsible for assisting the General Manager with inventory and ordering of food and supplies, while ensuring guests are satisfied with their dining experience.
Manager Responsibilities
· Assist in Managing the daily operations while promoting a positive culture and values of Swadley’s.
· Provide direction to staff to achieve daily/weekly goals.
· Monitor and maintain the POS system.
· Create a positive guest experience by delivering a high level of service.
· Assist in all areas when needed.
· Assist with interviews throughout the hiring process.
· Lead and Motivate staff throughout shifts.
· Undertake opening and closing responsibilities, banking responsibilities etc.
· Ensure cash and security policies, administration and financial procedures are adhered to and relevant data is delivered in an accurate and timely manner.
· Manage the restaurant to meet standards in food quality, safety, and cleanliness.
· Ensure all operations adhere to relevant legislation, licensing conditions and Health and Safety Regulations.
· Where appropriate undertake responsibilities as a key holder of the building, ensuring smooth and safe daily operations and security procedures are maintained.
· Perform other duties as assigned by leadership.
Education: High School Diploma
Experience:
· 2 years of restaurant management experience.
· Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus.
· Must be able to work in fast paced environment.
· Strong leadership skills with an affinity for capacity development.
· General computer experience.
