Business Development Manager – Sales Team Leader
Swan Transportation is looking for a highly motivated Sales Team Leader, with industry experience, that will find satisfaction in building a highly successful sales team. We’re seeking someone with excellent communication skills and the ability to lead a Sales Team to farm and cultivate new business opportunities in our Atlanta office. In this role, the Sales Team Manager will train, develop, and motivate our frontline sales team members in the Sales Process. Responsibilities
Achieve growth and hit sales targets by successfully managing the sales team
Report progress of team members to General Manager and Partners on weekly basis
Design and implement a strategic business plan that expands company’s customer base and ensure its strong presence
Own coaching and performance monitoring of sales representatives
Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs
Present sales, revenue and expense reports and realistic forecasts to the management team
Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status
Requirements
BS/MS degree in Business Administration or a related field
Successful previous experience as a sales representative or sales manager, consistently meeting or exceeding targets
Committed to continuous education through workshops, seminars and conferences
Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization
Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close
Strong business sense and 3PL industry expertise
Excellent mentoring, coaching and people management skills
