Sweet Blue Swim Academy was founded by Cristina Teuscher, a two-time Olympian and Gold and Bronze medalist as well as six-time national champion, and by her husband, Amerigo Fabbri, former Dean and Lecturer at Yale University.
Located in Stamford, CT, Sweet Blue Swim Academy offers the finest education in swimming based on knowledge of and experience in the highest divisions of the swimming world. The distinctive feature that sets Sweet Blue Swim Academy apart from other institutions is its meticulous focus on mastering impeccable technique for all four strokes. Our programming brings learn-to-swim classes to children starting from 4 months of age up to adults. Finally, we offer Competitive Clinics as well as Adult Stroke Analysis classes for both competitive swimmers and Master’s Swimmers/Triathletes.

Sweet Blue swim Academy is seeking applications for the position of Accounts & Administrative Services Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate is a highly professional individual, who possesses a collaborative and warm personality, who is committed to excellence in executing daily office and administrative operations, and who is a true team player. They should have clear and proactive communication skills and should not be afraid to ask questions. Reporting to the Assistant Director of Administrative Operations, the set of responsibilities for this position focus on assisting with customer service operations; monthly processing and internal tracking of families’ accounts and their related enrollments in swim classes; handling and processing families’ charges on their accounts.
Responsibilities:
· Responding to emails and phone calls providing clear and accurate information to families regarding current and future enrollment options.
· Keeping an updated schedule for all our current enrollments which will include marking expected absences, scheduling makeup classes, facilitating drops or transfers, notifying families of cancelations, and making sure all schedule changes are recorded in our online software.
· Helping the Assistant Director of Administrative Operations with reviewing monthly balances on families’ accounts. This includes reviewing the monthly data on current and future enrollments.
· Communicating, educating, and ensuring compliance with policies and applicable best practices.
· Assisting with our office monthly reports, and identify areas of concerns/improvement.
· Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
An Associate Degree or equivalent (B.A. preferred), plus two years of professional Customer Service experience.
· Thorough knowledge of established office-management principles and practices.
· Consistent and accurate data entry skills.
· Demonstrated excellent computer skills.
· Advanced spreadsheet skills, including Microsoft Word.
· Ability to write (emails, letters, etc.) in a professional fashion, and demonstrated analytical, problem solving, human relations and excellent oral communication skills.

Job Type: Part-time, 20 hours, Monday-Thursday, 9AM-2PM
Compensation: $25/hour, depending on experience
