Expectations of a Mover

We are currently seeking motivated and reliable Movers to join our team in Sacramento. As a Mover, you will be responsible for assisting with the seamless relocation of our clients' belongings.

Responsibilities:

1. Safely and efficiently loading and unloading furniture, appliances, boxes, and other household items onto moving trucks.
2. Packing and securing items in moving boxes to prevent damage during transportation.
3. Properly organizing and arranging items inside trucks to ensure efficient use of space and prevent shifting during transit.
4. Assisting with the disassembly and reassembly of furniture as needed.
5. Providing exceptional customer service and addressing client inquiries or concerns during the moving process.
6. Safely driving company vehicles to and from designated locations.
7. Following all safety procedures and guidelines to prevent accidents, injuries, or damage to property.
8. Adhering to schedules and completing assigned moving jobs within specified timeframes.
9. Maintaining cleanliness and orderliness of work areas and equipment.
10. Assisting with general maintenance and upkeep of moving equipment and vehicles.

Requirements:

1. Excellent physical strength and endurance to handle heavy lifting and long hours of physical activity.
2. Ability to work well in a team environment and follow instructions from supervisors.
3. Strong time management skills with the ability to complete tasks within specified deadlines.
4. Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
5. Outstanding customer service skills and a friendly and professional demeanor.
6. Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
7. Ability to operate moving equipment such as dollies and hand trucks.
8. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and overtime as needed.

Physical Requirements:

1. Ability to lift heavy objects weighing up to 75 pounds or more.
2. Stamina to perform physical tasks for extended periods, including bending, kneeling, and reaching.
3. Ability to work in various weather conditions and environments, including indoor and outdoor settings.
