You’ll conduct preliminary dental exams, help dentists with examinations and procedures, and perform thorough dental cleanings so patients walk out with a smile. Responsibilities: • Record any changes to the patient’s health history and document the ongoings of each appointment • Explain good oral hygiene techniques to patients of all ages, such as thorough brushing and flossing twice daily • Disinfect all dental instruments to ensure cross-contamination does not occur • Check for issues such as gingivitis, periodontitis, or caries so patients can receive care as soon as the problem is identified • Talk to patients and make sure they feel comfortable and taken care of before, during, and after the examination Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree or master's degree in registered dental hygiene program preferred, associate’s degree required • Understands HIPAA regulations and all dentistry safety guidelines • Superb customer service and communication skills • Possesses a state license to practice dental hygiene • Seasoned and new graduates are both encouraged to apply Compensation: $57 hourly, negotiable depending on experience
