    Our small business is hiring a dental hygienist who can help us provide incredible dental care to each of our patients! You’ll conduct preliminary dental exams, help our solo dentist with examinations and procedures, and perform thorough dental cleanings so patients walk out with a smile. This role is perfect for someone who loves to care for people and is highly attuned to detail. Responsibilities: • Sterilize all dental equipment to make sure everything is properly cleaned • Complete x-rays of the patients’ teeth so the dentist can quickly identify any tooth decay or other oral health issues • Talk to patients and make sure they feel comfortable and taken care of before, during, and after the examination • Give guidance to patients about how to have good dental care at home after undergoing an operation or procedure • Educate patients of all ages on how to take care of their teeth through good flossing and brushing twice daily Qualifications: • Valid CPR certification • At least 1-2 years of experience in dental hygiene • Excellent communication and customer service skills • Possesses a state license to practice dental hygiene • Bachelor’s degree or master's degree in registered dental hygiene program preferred, associate’s degree required Compensation: $55 per hour based on experience
