    Come join Sweetheart Ice Cream team as a Human Resource lead. The position is located at our main office in Tampa, FL. The primary responsibility of the role is to partner with the leadership team to support business priorities related to people and culture.

    We are seeking an experienced professional who can effectively influence, lead and execute across multiple areas of HR to include recruitment, engagement and retention, policy and procedure administration and HR compliance. This position will have 1 direct report but will work with the leadership team to accomplish the company’s goal.

    Partners closely with the leadership team to ensure the timely completion of key HR deliverables, as well as active participation in all HR initiatives.

    Focus on staffing and retention of employees, work closely with managers to continually fine tune the process and improve quality of hires.

    Facilitates and oversee employee on-boarding and ensures all new hire forms are completed/submitted accordingly.

    Partner with managers on the onboarding process and orientation.

    Provides benefits information to employees and manages onboarding process of benefits.

    Manages open enrollment of various benefits.

    Resolves or escalates benefit related inquiries.

    Coordinate all necessary assets for all new hire/current employees and collects assets upon termination of employment.

    Oversee HR processes, policies and procedures and align with management to adapt practices as necessary to best support the unique challenges while ensuring adherence to company standards

    Advises employees and managers on company policies, procedures, documentation, and compliance.

    Provides performance management guidance, including coaching for improvement plans.

    Collaborate with management to ensure adherence to safety prevention measures as well as administration of post-incident procedures and workers' compensation administration

    Assist creating job descriptions for open positions and continuing to update as necessary.

    Creates and manages the posting of open positions, reviews applications/resumes, and manages applicant through various platforms.

    Develops and maintains relationships with employment agencies, universities, recruitment sources, etc.

    Complete other HR-related tasks and project work as business need dictates.

    Oversees/supervises administrative tasks, coordinates company events.

    Assists other company departments.

    All other duties as assigned.

    What You Need,

    Bachelor’s Degree in a related discipline (or equivalent) required.

    3-5 years of related human resources experience required.

    Ability to communicate (both verbally and in writing) with diverse audiences.

    Intermediate-level proficiency with Microsoft Office products.

    Ability to work comfortably and successfully under pressure and handle multiple highly sensitive issues and competing priorities.

    Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

    Must be detail oriented.

    Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive information and maintain confidentiality.

    Ability to travel if needed to company depots.
