POSITION DESCRIPTION:

Sweetwaters Coffee & Tea is seeking an enthusiastic, creative, innovative and diligent individual that enjoys working with a team and playing an important role in creating social content on platforms like Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Twitter, LinkedIn, and Facebook.

The Social Media Content Creator will be an integral part in supporting the brand’s marketing goals in unique ways that will elevate the brand to current guests and introduce the brand to new guests across the country.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Work and communicate collaboratively with the team to coordinate social media content with team goals.

Create social media content via posts and videos that is relevant to current trends and marketing initiatives.

Write witty, creative copy that is on trend.

Conduct research to increase the visibility and exposure of social media initiatives.

Create and maintain a social media content calendar.

Track social media performance.

Adhere to deadlines.

REQUIREMENTS:

Experience creating eye-catching, intriguing social media posts, reels, videos.

Proficient computer, video, and photo skills using traditional equipment and iPhones.

Google Suite and Gmail knowledge required.

The ability to multitask, be forward thinking, and work in a fast-paced environment as a self-starter.

The ability to work independently, work on many projects at once, and be able to change focus as needed.

The ability to work well under pressure, take directions, and work well as part of a team.

Solid organizational and time management skills.

High energy level.

Proven ability to meet deadlines.

Intense eye for detail.

Exceptional proofreading skills.

An interest in the food and hospitality field.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills including the ability to write grammatically correct copy.

A sense of humor with an easy going yet driven personality.

Remote work possible.

HOURS REQUIRED:

20-25 hours/week with an opportunity to increase to full-time in the future.
