    Our growing HVAC company is looking for workers that aren't afraid to learn something new and create a career in the HVAC business. This position would start out being responsible for assisting HVAC technicians and mechanics in the installation, maintenance, and repair of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. Prior experience is a plus, but not a requirement. If you are willing to learn, we are willing to train. This position will provide support in various tasks, including carrying equipment, preparing work areas, and performing basic installations. As experience grows and proven ability to install systems becomes apparent, the potential for advancement in responsibilities and pay will increase. Responsibilities: Assisting with Installations: • Help in the installation of HVAC systems, including ductwork, pipes, and units. • Carry and move heavy equipment and materials to and from the job site. Preparing Work Areas: • Set up work areas by arranging tools and equipment as per instructions from the technician or supervisor. • Ensure that work areas are clean, organized, and safe. Basic Repairs and Maintenance: • Assist in basic troubleshooting and repairs of HVAC equipment. • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning coils, changing filters, and lubricating moving parts. Handling Tools and Equipment: • Properly use and maintain hand and power tools commonly used in HVAC work. • Safely operate equipment like drills, saws, and gauges. Documentation and Reporting: • Record work performed, including tasks completed, materials used, and any issues encountered. • Report any safety hazards, equipment malfunctions, or deficiencies to the supervisor. Team Collaboration: • Collaborate with HVAC technicians and other team members to complete projects efficiently. • Follow instructions from senior technicians and supervisors. Continuous Learning: • Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices through training and professional development. Qualifications: • Candidate is comfortable working in attics and crawl spaces • High school diploma or GED required • Willingness to work in various weather conditions and environments • Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects • Basic knowledge of HVAC systems and components is a plus Compensation: $15 - $18 DOE
