We are seeking candidates who are capable of providing excellent customer service. This candidate must have a positive attitude, pay attention to detail and be comfortable working in a fast-pace environment. This person has some backup warehouse duties so should be able to do shipping if required. On occasion, the specialist may need to assist in delivery. Having a drivers license to drive a delivery van is not a requirement, but may put you ahead of other applicants. Purchasing experience, graphic design and marketing experience is a plus. The Customer Service Specialist is responsible for performing a variety of customer service/office administration and warehouse duties related to the operation of a Sales Service Center.
Performs various customer service duties such as: assisting customers in determining order requirements, processing orders, quoting supplies, answering customer inquiries, providing samples, providing direction/selection assistance, and accepting payments.
Addresses and resolves customer complaints (returns and order errors).
Assists Sales Reps with Quotes, order status requests, product information, Purchase Order entry etc.
Build and maintain relationships with vendors and customers. Have the ability to negotiate pricing and terms with vendors.
Answer telephone calls when needed.
Due to recently implemented protocol in response to Covid, the employee may be responsible for disinfecting surfaces within the office. The rep may also find themselves alone in the office at time due to social distancing precautions.
WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:
First-rate Customer Service Skills
Experience with data entry and retrieval on computer system. Word and Excel experience important.
Strong organizational skills
Strong Computer and Typing Skills
Ability to lift 50 Ibs
Ability to work under pressure effectively
