    JOB SUMMARY:

    Installation, repair, and process engineering support of Fuji SMT - Automation Equipment

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS / RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Field Installation of Fuji Surface Mount - Automation equipment throughout North America.

    • Field Troubleshoot, Repair, Training, and Process support of Fuji Surface Mount - Automation equipment.

    • Field Custom Modification & Retrofit of Fuji Surface Mount -Automation equipment.

    • Engineering Level Technical Phone Support.

    • Engineering Level data collection including written and oral reports.

    • Comprehension of Electrical schematic, blueprint, and mechatronics drawings.

    • Capability of working in both team and independent work environments with limited supervision.

    • Strong verbal communication skills with both customer and other Fuji Technical Depts.

    • Knowledge of Windows and be comfortable installing software.

    • Flexibility to travel and perform job assignments at short notice.

    • Strong Aptitude with current computing applications and networking processes. • Travel with U.S. & Canada 75% of time

    • Other duties as assigned by Manager.

    EDUCATION & BACKGROUND:

    Bachelor of Science in Engineering preferred. Fuji SMT experience preferred. Strong aptitude with electrical and mechanical diagnostics/repairs. Aptitude with modern PC applications.

    PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

    Employee is required daily to stand, walk, and work with hand and automated tools. Employee is required to climb or balance, reach for controls, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, and stand for long periods. Individual may be required to lift and move at least 50 lbs. Moderate noise level.

    GENERAL REQUIREMENTS:

    Responsibilities will include at all times representing Fuji in a professional manner. Individual must have excellent verbal communication and customer service skills. This position requires knowledge of general office procedures and computer literacy. The employee must also be a team player that is capable of acting in a manner that maintains harmony and cooperation within the company and customers alike. Individual must possess strong analytical skills. Must have the flexibility for frequent travel on short notice, and should expect about 75% travel with this position.
