JOB SUMMARY:

Create Time Studies for Machine Efficiently and Accurately for Sale Projects.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

1. Proficiency with CAM Software and making time studies using it.
2. Proficiency with 3D CAD Software.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Support Sales / Applications Engineers with new machine project time studies.
• Create Engineering Machine, Parts drawings in Auto Cad.
• Support coordinating outside machine parts procurement related to engineering such as machine chuck jaws, sheet metal parts etc.
• Create and submit ideas for improvement and development of company products or processes.
• Perform other duties, as assigned by the department supervisor and/or manager, which may be required to meet customer deadlines and their overall satisfaction level.

EXPERIENCE AND BACKGROUND:

This individual must have at least of 1-2 years of experience doing lathe time studies.

EDUCATION:

High School Diploma or Equivalent

College Degree or Minimum 2 years trade school

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Walking, balancing, standing, climbing, stopping, crouching, kneeling, sitting for long periods, reaching, lifting (10 lbs ), carry, pushing, handling, talking, hearing, seeing depth perception. Ability to use phone, computer, keyboard, etc. Mental requirements include but are not limited to the ability to concentrate, take initiative, cope with stress, adapt to and stay alert in a business environment, and to use independent judgement to accomplish results.

GENERAL REQUIREMENTS

Responsibilities will always include representing the company in a professional manner. This position requires general to extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office tools. Individuals should possess strong analytical skills.
