    REGIONAL SALES MANAGER POSITION:

     

    Sodick Inc- Leading manufacturer of EDM CNC machinery is seeking a Regional Sales Manager in the MN/IL/MI/WI region. An attractive compensation package including commission + benefits is offered.

     

    Regional Sales Manager contributes to the growth of company by generating sales and overseeing the work of Territory Sales Managers and Sales Representatives in the Northeast. Responsible for new business development through prospecting, qualifying and selling EDM / HSM machinery and related consumable parts. Responsible for data analysis to determine sales potential and sales strategy.

     

    Responsibilities:

    1. Develop and maintain sales strategies and territory planning to meet assigned sales revenue targets.
    2. Oversee territory managers and sales representatives in the Northeast.
    3. Establish and maintain relationships with customers in assigned territories through frequent customer visits and other communication, including participation in trade shows.
    4. Increase account penetration at established and potential customers.
    5. Manage client relationship through all phases of the sales cycle.
    6. Provide one-on-one sales presentations.
    7. Interact with other departments in the organization to ensure proper handling of customer requirements.
    8. Remain knowledgeable to market and industry trends, competitors and partners to ensure the company’s products are highly competitive and well-received.
    9. Track customer information, forecasts and reports and maintain effective sales database.

     

    Qualifications and Skills Required:

    1. BA/BS in Business Administration or Sales and Marketing or equivalent experience.
    2. At least 5 years of experience in a machine tool industry with some EDM experience preferred.
    3. 5 years of sales management with high record of achievement.
    4. Supervisory experience.
    5. Ability to self-motivate, multi-task and work independently or within a team.
    6. Well-developed interpersonal skills and professional demeanor.
    7. Minimum 60% overnight travel.

     

    Ideal candidate should live in the Northeast.
