SwiftWater Energy Services is actively seeking Chemical Operators.  Ideal candidates will possess experience in the oilfield working with chemicals for water management, drilling, completions, and/or fracking activities.  Essential character traits include integrity, humility, resilience, and a desire to be a part of ONE team.

SUMMARY OF JOB PURPOSE

• Monitor chemical treatment levels during frac stages
• Pull and test water samples using various testing equipment
• May work in two man or solo operation upon completion of training
• 12-hour shift schedule plus drive time to and from location

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Conduct walk-arounds to pull samples and check meters and gauges on equipment
• Ensure daily operations are in compliance with EPA and OSHA regulations
• Complete reports and submit reports in a timely manner
• Communicate with internal and external customers
• Verify that all equipment is running properly

SCOPE AND ACCOUNTABILITY

• Follow general policies and procedures of SwiftWater Energy Services
• Inform supervisor promptly of any issues
• Stay on location at all times to maintain oversight of the unit

REQUIRED COMPETENCIES / PREREQUISITES

• High school diploma or GED
• 1 year relevant work and/or education experience
• Basic reading, writing, math and computer skills (Must know how to use Excel)
• Chemical work related experience preferred
• A Valid drivers license

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Light to moderate physical effort required
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
• Required to walk, reach and move about the unit
• Work indoors/outdoors
• Work in/around mechanical, industrial and electrical equipment
• Work in/around trucks
• Work in temperature extremes due to weather conditions and operating equipment
• Must be able to pass a fit test
• Must be able to climb a ladder

• Steel-toed safety shoes - Employee must provide
• Safety glasses - Provided by employer
• Hard hats - Provided by employer
• FRCs (fire retardant clothing) - Provided by employer
• H2S monitor & Safety glove- Provided by employer
• Respirator - Provided by employer
