    We provide swim instruction to our community that builds confidence, water safety, and life-saving skills in a student-centered environment. We’re committed to training and supporting our staff with the tools they need to succeed—no prior teaching experience required.

    🕒 Schedule & Pay

    Part-Time

    Weekdays: Monday–Friday, 3:00–7:45 PM

    Weekends: 4–5 hour shifts at the beginning or end of our day (8:30 AM–3:30 PM availability window)

    Pay: $15–$17/hour, based on experience

    🏊‍♀️ What You’ll Do

    As a Swim Instructor, you are responsible for the safety, progress, and confidence of your students. You’ll teach swim skills using our curriculum while adapting to each swimmer’s needs, comfort level, and abilities.

    You will:

    Ensure the safety of all swimmers

    Teach and demonstrate swim strokes and skills

    Build water confidence through encouragement and positive coaching

    Communicate regularly with students and teammates

    Support the pool deck as needed

    Report to the Deck Supervisor or Site Supervisor during shifts

    Smile, have fun, and bring great energy to every class

    ✅ Qualifications

    Intermediate swim experience (knowledge of all swim strokes)

    Ability to demonstrate swim skills in the water

    Caring, patient, and compassionate with children and adults

    Strong communication skills

    Positive attitude and willingness to be coached

    Ability to work in the water for up to 5 hours

    Comfortable in a fast-paced environment

    Reliable, dependable team player

    Ability to commit to at least one year (Afternoons and weekends required)
