About the Role
As the Swim School Operations Manager, you’ll be the heartbeat of our swimming operations. Your leadership is key to the Goldfish Swim School community experience. You will directly influence this through:
Managing interactions with current members.
Training team members.
Leading the Lifeguard and Swim Instructor training programs.
Ensuring highest standards of safety and service.
Reporting to the General Manager, this role combines training, organization, and leadership. You’ll also serve as Manager on Duty during a portion of your shifts. This is a key-carrying position and you may be responsible for opening and closing the building independently.

Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership:
Lead and coordinate the activities of Swim School Operations Coordinators, Deck Supervisors, and Lifeguards to ensure effective operations.
Conduct quarterly reviews on all team members
Conduct regular team meetings to ensure alignment with school objectives.
Lifeguard Program Management:
Oversee the Lifeguard Program, including planning and conducting internal lifeguard reviews and audits.
Schedule and instruct lifeguard classes and maintain accurate records of certifications and training.
Conduct equipment audits.
Facility Maintenance:
Ensure the overall maintenance and cleanliness of the facility are upheld to the highest standards.
Obtain CPO Certification and assist in pool maintenance tasks as directed by the Aquatics Facility Operator.
Operational Analytics:
Conduct lesson level occupancy analysis to optimize class schedules and resource allocation.
Certifications and Availability:
Ellis & Associates Lifeguard Instructor Certification required (Training provided if not currently certified)
All certifications must be kept current in accordance with renewal standards
This is a full-time position (30+ hrs/week).
Flexible availability is required, including weekdays, evenings and weekend shifts to accommodate for the business need.
