We are looking to hire a part-time Swim Coach. Available hours per week can range based on availability, but will require a minimum of 1 weekend day.

Coaching Duties

• Lead Age Group

• Designs and implements season plan for teaching and training

• Designs and implements daily practices for assigned groups

• Attends and engages in all scheduled practices

• Evaluates seasonal and daily practices

• Assists with recruitment and retention of athletes

• Assistant coaches for other groups as assigned

• Implements training and teaching progressions

• Motivates and participates in goal setting to help athletes reach potential

• Recommends individual and relay events for all meets for athletes

• Schedules, attends and engages in meets as assigned

• Participates in Parent Education

• Maintain daily attendance records for training groups

Administrative Duties

• Execute the vision, mission, and objectives of the team

• Communicates regularly with staff

• Communicates with membership via phone, email, text and team website

• Responds promptly to all swimmer/parent/coach communication

• Other duties as assigned
