We are looking for Day Camp Group Leaders to provide direct supervision of a group of children in a summer day camp. A qualified candidate will create positive, nurturing relationships with children, while building cooperative relationships with parents/caregivers. Group Leaders will promote and support the potential of all youth in programs and facilitates peer-to-peer connections as part of the overall camp experience. You will not be teaching swim lessons or gymnastic lessons to the children.

Training begins on June 1st. Camp officially begins June 8th

Monday - Friday 8:00 am - 3:45 PM

NO WEEKENDS REQUIRED!!

Camp Counselors DO NOT teach the swim lessons or gymnastic instruction to the campers.

QUALIFICATIONS:

At least 18 years of age.

High school graduate or equivalent.

Previous experience working with children; preferably in a daycare, coaching, teaching or day camp setting

Experience preferred in one or more of the following areas: outdoor living, archery, boating, camping, songs/music, skits, sports, aquatics, recreational games, etc.

Previous experience with diverse populations preferred.
