Responsibilities: • Maintain record of paperwork and services performed • Use certified pool equipment to clean swimming pools and water filters • Advise customers on best preventative maintenance practices • Review results of water’s pH levels and add or maintain chemicals if necessary • Skim debris from the water's surface, brush the sides and bottom of the pool, and vacuum dirt and debris from the pool floor • Inspect pool equipment, such as pumps and filters, and report any issues to the supervisor • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as backwashing filters and cleaning skimmer baskets Qualifications: • Valid driver’s license required • Previous experience as a pool technician and understanding of common pool maintenance techniques, chemicals, and equipment • Candidate must have high school diploma or GED • Physical ability to lift heavy equipment and dexterity are required • Candidate must be comfortable working in harsh weather conditions Compensation: $50,000 - $55,000 yearly
