    Position Overview

    Swim Solutions Pools is seeking a skilled and reliable Swimming Pool Repair Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain residential and commercial pool systems. This role requires strong technical ability, excellent communication, and the discipline to work independently in the field while representing our company’s high standards of service. A valid R.A.I.L. license is required for this position.

    Key Responsibilities

    Equipment Diagnostics & Repair

    Perform troubleshooting and repair of pool equipment including pumps, filters, heaters, automation systems, chlorinators, valves, plumbing, and lighting.

    Conduct leak detection, pressure testing, and system performance assessments.

    Install and replace equipment such as pumps, filters, heaters, lights, and automation devices.

    Perform general PVC plumbing repairs and equipment pad reconfiguration as needed.

    Customer Communication & Service

    Communicate findings, repair recommendations, and cost-effective options to customers clearly and professionally.

    Provide photos and documentation for each service or repair performed.

    Ensure every homeowner or property manager understands the work completed and future maintenance needs.

    Operational Requirements

    Complete work orders, estimates, and field notes with accuracy and clarity.

    Maintain company tools, vehicle, and equipment in clean, safe working condition.

    Coordinate with office staff, repair managers, and subcontractors to ensure timely job completion.

    Follow company safety protocols and industry best practices on every job.

    Qualifications & Requirements

    R.A.I.L. license (required)

    Minimum 1–2 years of experience in pool repair, equipment installation, or related field preferred

    Strong understanding of pool hydraulics, electrical components, and chemical systems

    Ability to lift 50–75 lbs, work outdoors, and operate power tools safely

    Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

    Strong communication, time management, and problem-solving skills

    Professional, respectful, and customer-service oriented

    Ability to read equipment specs, wiring diagrams, and manufacturer manuals
