    Job Description

    Swing Staging, LLC, a high-end NYC suspended scaffolding company and part of BrandSafway in Long Island City, NY has a position open for an outgoing and enterprising Sales Manager to join our team. You will be responsible to grow the business, providing superior customer service, and excellent communication to customers and employees.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Develop new sales and rentals
    • Actively monitor the sales team’s effort to develop new business through methods such as cold calling, community outreach, involvement in trade organizations, etc.
    • Hold weekly sales meetings focused on reviewing each team member's progress and developing the team’s knowledge and expertise in our product line and industry at large.
    • Promote and manage the sales team’s productivity and growth through reporting, goal setting, sales process development, sales job design, sales training, sales program implementation, assisting in recruiting and selection of sales force talent.
    • Develop and maintain accurate methods of sales prospect reporting and tracking to be used by the sales team.
    • Proactively identify opportunities for sales process improvement.
    • Discover new and underdeveloped segments of the market and investigate the opportunity for company expansion into those areas/markets/segments.
    • Develop and maintain personal relationships with key customer accounts.
    • Maintain a productive working relationship with S&E and Safway Atlantic Branches. Acts as the liaison for both companies, sharing and employing best practices and standardization across the organizations.
    • Oversee and improve the flow of information from the service desk to various other departments including operations, billing, and credit/ legal.
    • Work with the Operations Coordinator and General Manager to ensure the yard facilitates customers’ orders quickly and accurately.
    • Identify and reestablish contact with customers who previously did business with Swing Staging but have not been as active recently.

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Previous experience in sales
    • Minimum 2 years Managerial experience
    • Strong Leadership skills
    • Ability to build rapport with clients and employees
    • Bilingual Spanish preferred
    • Construction experience preferred but not necessary
