Due to recent growth, we have an opportunity for an HR Generalist to work in a corporate capacity.

    Position Summary:

    Swingtech is currently looking for an HR Generalist with both benefits and recruiting experience. This position will be responsible for performing day to day HR functions in support of the company's goals, values, and strategic objectives and will play a critical role in talent sourcing, employee relations, performance management, employee engagement, benefits, and compliance with federal and state labor laws.

    The right candidate for this role will be willing to work both independently and in a team environment, be able to wear multiple hats, and take initiative on projects to start and bring them to fruition. A self starter is a must.

    This is a hybrid role and will work both in office and remote.

    Primary Responsibilities:

    • Assist in talent acquisition and recruitment processes, generate offer letters as needed.
    • Schedule and conduct new hire orientation and onboarding to ensure an exceptional first day and week experience.
    • Audit and ensure all new hire paperwork is complete, administer and monitor background checks.
    • Update HRIS as necessary, maintain electronic files and conduct audits for accuracy and compliance.
    • Administer compensation and benefit plans; run benefit and 401(k) enrollment reports for plan submissions and broker updates.
    • Assist in the communication, interpretation, and upkeep of employee handbook and contribute to policy development.
    • Help organize training & development initiatives.
    • Provide support to employees in various HR-related topics such as leaves and compensation and resolve issues.
    • Undertake tasks around performance and talent management.
    • Organize quarterly and annual employee performance reviews
    • Gather and analyze data with useful HR metrics, like time to hire and employee turnover rates.
    • Enhance job satisfaction by resolving issues promptly, applying new perks and benefits and organizing team building activities.
    • Ensure compliance with labor regulations.
    • Work in office and remote.

    Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

    • Bachelor's degree and 4+ years of HR/Benefits experience
    • Excellent problem-solving skills, ability to act quickly and decisively
    • Ability to communicate effectively, both oral and written
    • Outstanding knowledge of MS Office; proficient in Excel; HRIS systems
    • Understanding of general human resources policies and procedures
    • Good knowledge of employment/labor laws
    • Excellent communication and people skills
    • Aptitude in problem-solving and self starter
    • Desire to work as a team with a results driven approach and independently. Must be a self starter.
