Position: Command Speechwriter
Location: Bellevue, NE Area
Clearance Level: Top Secret with SCI eligibility
Position Description:
As a Command Speechwriter, you will support a DoD client located near Bellevue, NE. In this role, you will organize and create content for executive-level speeches, journal articles, talking points and remarks covering a broad range of topics to communicate the Commander’s message.
Responsibilities include:
- Prepare speeches for Senior Leadership.
- Draft articles for local, national, and international news sources.
- Prepare short remarks and talking points for events and gatherings.
- Maintain an archive of all written speeches, articles etc.
- Coordination with Public Affairs to set up release of manuscripts when requested.
Minimum requirements:
- Minimum 10 years’ experience of senior-level speech writing.
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
- English, journalism, communications, etc. degree preferred.
- Post Graduate experience is preferred.
- 5+ years of managing and maintaining a stable work force.
- US Citizen
- TS Clearance
