    WHO WE NEED:  We are looking for an engineering graduate who is detail oriented, a strong verbal communicator, and looking to develop experience with electrical and embedded engineering.

    PRIMARY ROLE: Design and implement hardware, firmware and test fixtures for embedded devices.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Device hardware and firmware design.
    • Collaborate with Product Development team on designing and implementing new hardware and software solutions.
    • Support Field Support Operations and Quality teams to rapidly identify and address client product issues.
    • Support firmware, electrical and mechanical teams to design and implement test-specific prototypes and samples.
    • Support product development team with prototype assembly including: component sourcing, PCB assembly, 3D printing, and device assembly.
    • Create and maintain documentation for research, designs and test plans.

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Masters in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related field.
    • Strong engineering fundamentals: electrical and mechanical.
    • Knowledge and experience with embedded C/C++ programming.
    • Experience with ARM/PIC micro-controllers
    • Familiarity with Linux, Bash and Python.
    • Experience with test equipment such as oscilloscopes, voltmeters, etc…
    • Knowledge of statistical tests, and proficiency in Excel for data set analysis.
    • Clear, concise verbal and written communication to a broad technical community.
    • Experience with CAD software such as Solidworks a plus
    • Experience with EDA software such as Altium a plus
