    Opportunity Overview:

    Swish is currently seeking a Business Development Manager – Geotab Fleet Tracking and Telematics to join our growing team. This is an opportunity to join an amazing technical team that provides end-to-end connected fleet solutions. Our successful history in Fleet Tracking / Telematics solutions is due to our dedicated focus of delivering better outcomes for our customers. We pride ourselves in being a trusted advisor to our customers with deep product knowledge and a long-standing partnership with a global industry leader Geotab.

    Take the lead to grow and expand our revenue. Act as a subject matter expert on the Geotab and Swish software solutions. Be responsible for the planning and execution of a business strategy to expand and grow our customer base.

    The successful candidate will have expertise to design and carry out customer site discoveries and align our service offerings to exceed our customers expectations.

    In this role the Business Development Manager will be expected to showcase our software features and sell their benefits, with the goal of enabling our customers with the know-how to take full advantage of our service offerings. The role will report to the IT Director.

    What We Are Looking For:

    An ability to effectively demonstrate our Swish software solutions

    Measured success and a proven track record in Software Sales

    Solid understanding of Saas Products and services.

    Proven ability to effectively identify and resolve issues

    Strong analytical and problem solving skills

    Strong ability to build, influence and motivate partnerships with customers

    Extensive technical knowledge and understanding of GPS/AVL & IT operations

    Must have a strong work ethic and dedication

    Strong knowledge of the public works & transportation industry

    What You’ll Do:

    Manage the end to end Fleet Tracking/Telematics business for Swish, including sales, business development, marketing, and administration.

    Initiate the sales process by scheduling appointments; make initial presentations; understand account requirements

    Close sales by building rapport with potential accounts; demonstrating product and software functions; overcome objections; prepare contracts

    Expand sales in existing accounts by introducing new products and services

    Travel to new and current customers throughout Ontario & Canada

    Demonstrate an ability to connect with customers both technically & non-technically regarding their specific requirements

    Present a strong comfort level in all customer-facing situations

    Become the point of contact for new and existing clients to book enhanced product and application training

    Assist with client support, as well as customer issue resolution when necessary

    Outline Geotab and our Integration Services to the potential customers by effectively addressing and positioning the customer’s requirements

    Resolve any issues with customers or the local carrier sales channel

    What You’ll Need:

    An entrepreneurial mindset, to help build and grow this business (flexible, versatile, ability to pivot as needed)

    Minimum 5 years Software Sales / Business Development experience

    Experience in Geotab fleet management / public works / road operations considered a strong asset

    Ability to develop and execute business goals and targets

    Strong communication skills

    A reliable car and a valid driver's license with a clean driving record

    Ability to travel anywhere in Ontario & Canada
