    The Swish White River team is currently looking for a driven individual with exceptional multitasking skills to join our Hartford, VT team. Our Buyer-Inventory Analyst is responsible for the efficiency of the purchasing/buying process including the accurate maintenance of purchasing and supplier files, price lists and daily/weekly/monthly and yearly reporting.

    Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

    The Inventory Analyst will assist in cycle counting, reconciliation of commodities and evaluate/streamline inventory processes.

    Run purchase order generation sheets on daily basis

    Enter Purchase Orders to suppliers and follow-up on ETA

    Process confirmations from Supplier

    Update open order report and e-mail to branches

    Run outstanding PO report and follow up on late orders

    Weekly schedule for pickups and confirm with suppliers that product is ready

    Liaison with key branch staff on daily basis

    Maintain purchasing & Supplier files, price lists

    Set up new products in the system

    Receive stock in to the computer

    Provides training and assistance to warehouse and receiving team members on proper inventory transaction processing, best practices to improve and maintain inventory

    Liaison with suppliers-lead time; backorders; sourcing new products

    Administrative support to the Director of Operations

    Cross-train with other member of the purchasing department to back up as needed.

    Monthly reports – various

    Special Projects

    Other duties as assigned

    Physical Demands/Working Conditions:

    Work is performed while standing, sitting and/ or walking

    Requires the ability to communicate effectively using speech, vision and hearing.

    Ability to work in above average stressful environment(s)

    Occasional travel

    Ability to meet strict deadlines

    Position Type/Expected Hours of Work: This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

    Recommended Qualifications:

    Experience/Skill:

    1-3 years Purchasing Experience

    Demonstrated experience with ERP system is a must

    Interpersonal skills to communicate with customers, staff and suppliers in a pleasant and professional manner.

    Knowledge of products and equipment in order to confidently and accurately address customers needs.

    Motor skills to operate computer, Winsol software, phones

    Demonstrated experience working with ERP systems is a must.

    Detail oriented

    Strong customer service orientation.

    Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

    Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

    Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

    Strong written and verbal skills to communicate with all levels of the organization and its executive team.

    Excellent conflict resolution skills, diplomacy and tact

    Persuasive, motivational, and persistent

    Ability to work independently or as part of a team.

    Education:

    High School Diploma required

    University Degree/ College Degree preferred
