Position: Swiss Screw Machine Operator Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–2:30 PM
Role Overview: Seeking an experienced Screw Machine Operator to support production of precision metal parts. Candidates should have hands-on experience with Swiss screw machines, CNC equipment, or manual lathes, and be comfortable working in a fast-paced, quality-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate and adjust Swiss screw machines to meet material and production requirements.
Set machine tools, speeds, and feeds to maintain accuracy.
Inspect parts using precision measurement tools and correct issues as needed.
Read and follow job orders, blueprints, and technical documents.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent; technical training preferred.
2+ years manufacturing experience with Swiss screw machines, CNCs, or manual lathes (manual single-spindle machines used).
Ability to read blueprints and apply shop math.
Strong attention to detail and quality standards.
Proficiency with micrometers, calipers, and similar measuring tools.
Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills.
Knowledge of safety procedures.
Clear communication skills in English.
Strong organization and ability to meet deadlines.
