Our client, a well-established company specializing in marine electronics and applications, is seeking a Switchgear Engineer to develop and optimize designs for low voltage switchboards, including detailed drawings, BOMs, mechanical layouts, and wiring diagrams. Responsibilities include preparing documentation for regulatory approval (FAT procedures, technical manuals, and commissioning procedures), ensuring compliance with USCG and ABS standards, and supporting both fabrication and estimating teams. Qualifications:

• BS degree in electrical engineering or related field highly preferred; other certifications and technical training will be considered
• 5+ years of experience with medium/low voltage switchgear and generator control packages
• Proficient in CAD software
