A leading travel company is seeking to hire a Finance Manager for their team. This ia great opportunity to join an award winning team.
What you'll do: • Finance business partner and learn the business of technology- based capabilities driving the Data and Artificial Intelligence Platforms • Become trusted advisor for the business teams you are supporting, help guide decisions that drive financial results • Help own the quarterly, annual, and long-term forecasting for Data and AI spend • Provide weekly/monthly/quarterly analytics and reporting, variance and trend analyses for spend that provide meaningful insights • Identify and drive process and reporting improvements to enable additional insights • Communicate financial information and concepts to both finance and business leaders to support and influence decision making • Lead frequent ad hoc modeling, analysis, and reporting on headcount and spend to support leadership and business decisions • Synthesize the financial story into executive level presentations to communicate financial results, surface trends and report key business. • Partner with other finance teams to ensure the alignment of the FP&A forecast with current business trends and operational initiatives • Drive efficiencies in the Finance organization by identifying process deficiencies, offering viable and scalable solutions and driving cross-departmental team work to implement those solutions
Who you are: • Bachelor's degree required • 7+ years of experience in Finance, FP&A, Business Planning roles • Advanced analytic, modeling, forecasting, and reporting skills • Ability to work effectively across teams • Solid time management and multi-tasking abilities • Highly proficient with Excel and PowerPoint. Experience with SQL, Oracle, Hyperion and Essbase preferred • Results driven, highly motivated, and curious with a "can do" attitude and willingness to learn • Highly collaborative, ability to build and maintain close working relationships with partners across an organization • Ability to work both independently and think strategically • Experience partnering with and influencing functional leaders • Attention to detail and a commitment to data integrity • Ability to manage multiple deliverables and challenging priorities • Experience in a travel, technology, or e-commerce organization
