    We are seeking a Regional Payroll Manager to join our team. A successful candidate will have a genuine passion for the hospitality industry and an entrepreneurial spirit.

    Responsibilities1. Prepare processing of payroll for three hotels based in LA, Palm Springs, and Scottsdale. Balance the payroll accounts by resolving payroll discrepancies. Ceridian/Dayforce payroll system experience preferred.

    1. Ensure orderly maintenance of all payroll records. Reviews the processing of new hires, transfers, terminations, and task force bill backs is accurate and timely.

    2. Work with hotel department heads to ensure accurate departmental payroll procedures

    3. Develop systems to process payroll account transactions and respond to requests (e.g. salaries, benefits, garnishments, deductions, taxes, union and third party payments)

    4. Oversee processing of payroll changes (e.g. new hires, terminations, raises) and system upgrades

    5. Maintain payroll control procedures per federal, state, and company’s legal requirements.

    6. Prepare reports for quarterly, yearly, and weekly reports.

    7. Liaise with auditors to assist and prepare payroll tax audits and other internal and external audits

    8. Provides payroll information by answering questions and requests for all three entities. Communicates actively with Operations, HR, and Finance teams. Resolve issues and answer payroll-related questions

    9. Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential.

    10. Accomplishes accounting and organization mission by completing related results as needed.

    11. Perform other tasks or projects as assigned by Controller, Executives or the CFO.

    Core Competencies

    1. 3-5 years experience managing a multi-state payroll preferred. Ability to manage and lead staff of all best- practice. Must be highly organized. Ability to multitask. Proficient at MS Office (excel).

    2. Ceridian/Dayforce experience preferred

    3. Solution oriented problem solver; self-starter; highly motivated

    4. Proven experience as a payroll manager or similar role

    5. Bachelor's degree preferred, preferably in accounting

    6. Excellent planning, communication and organizational skills required

    7. Strong oral and written communication skills

    8. Strong computer skills, working knowledge of all common office applications, ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.

    9. Detail-oriented with ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks.

    10. Excellent customer service skills
