    We are seeking an experienced reservations specialist to join our industry-leading team of service agents supporting online and voice reservations as well as guest services. Established in June of 2018, the Central Services team supports all 11 Sydell Group hotels with outstanding service and world-class attention to detail. This person will work remotely, reconciling confirmation info with third party booking platforms, fielding email inquiries, and accepting some reservations by phone, so it’s important to have a quiet workspace and very strong internet connection.

    Responsibilities

    Develop an encyclopedic knowledge of Sydell’s brands, properties, and guest room facilities/services.

    Share best-practices and techniques for engaging guests in memorable conversation with peers.

    Respond to guest contacts within established service levels and strive to exceed their expectations every time.

    Meet conversions and KPI goals as agreed with Team Lead on a recurring basis.

    Provide each guest with a thoughtful, memorable Sydell experience.

    Competencies

    Experience with working remotely is desired, but not a requirement

    Is self-motivated, reliable, and a trusted member of teams they’ve been a part of previously

    Strong communication skills, ability to interface with others is critical to this role and team

    Enjoy speaking with people on the phone in a warm, genuine, and authentic tone (25% of time spent on the phone)

    Strong desire to learn about Sydell, hospitality, and more

    Passionate about the experience offered at Sydell Group properties

    Must be a highly-motivated self-starter that pays attention to detail

    Schedule flexibility as this is an overnight position on a 24/7 operation

    Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

    Familiarity with SynXis and hotel PMS systems beneficial
