We are seeking a dynamic Vice President, Information Technology to join our team. A successful candidate will have a genuine passion for the hospitality industry and an entrepreneurial spirit.
Responsibilities
Lead and manage Corporate information technology systems, growth strategy, and IT system infrastructure for 12 operating hotels and all future development projects
Effectively manage IT projects to ensure completion on time and within budget
Manage vendor relationships, contracts, and pricing for all computer equipment, software, and support services
Develop and maintain information technology policies, procedures, and standards including Disaster Recovery Plan, and PCI compliance
Direct team of Regional/IT Project Managers
Core Competencies
10 years boutique hotel or corporate hotel chain IT systems management
Experience and knowledge of hotel or hospitality management ERP systems
Experience overseeing multiple properties in various markets
Great IT skills combined with deep understanding of the hospitality business
Solid experience with the pre-opening and development process of IT
Strong prioritization skills and flexibility to adapt to changing conditions
Ability to be strategic and forward thinking while overseeing the day to day across the portfolio
Good leadership skills with an ability to manage in every direction of the corporate structure
An ability to work to tight deadlines and within constraints in highly energetic, demanding environment
Bachelor’s Degree in computer science or comparable and suitable industry certifications
Experience with conceiving of and implementing ground up system roll-out
Experience with developing and implementing strategic plan including R&D/vetting of new systems and innovation a must
Strong corporate networking experience a must
Experience with multi-system integration a must
