We are seeking a dynamic Security Agent. A successful candidate will have a genuine passion for the hospitality industry and a professional demeanor.
Responsibilities
Must be courteous and gracious, maintaining a professional demeanor at all times
Establish and maintain good communication and teamwork with fellow colleagues and other departments within the hotel
Offer guests an enjoyable experience that conforms to the company’s standards of excellence, professionalism and friendliness
Patrol hotel property to ensure the safety of guests and employees and to protect all hotel assets.
Answer house calls, assist guests and employees with respect to safety, security and hotel operations
Respond to all emergencies on property to include, but not limited to, fire, medical, severe weather and evacuation
Initiate and follow-up all investigations of crimes committed against property and persons
Assist ill and injured guests and employees, ensuring documentation and disposition of reports
Initiate investigations, write incidents and accident reports, monitor investigations to their timely conclusion and ensure appropriate follow-up with guests, visitors and employees, documenting all contacts
Watch for suspicious persons entering, exiting, or loitering around building
Conduct walk through observations of entire hotel
Promote safe work practices
Answer security telephone and safety hotline calls and respond in a timely manner based on priority
Observe the security monitors for any unusual activity and in the case of suspicious behavior report directly, via radio, to the supervisor on duty; report any alarms similarly
Maintain accurate records while performing basic office duties including, but not limited to, camera monitoring, shift activity log
Take ownership of all service issues brought to your attention by guests
Maintain an increased awareness of safety issues throughout the hotel
Participate in scheduled departmental and administrative meetings as requested
Adhere to all standards of operations, policies and procedures, manuals, memos and verbal instructions
Be familiar with all safety and emergency procedures including OSHA requirements
