ROLE OBJECTIVES & RESPONSIBILITIES
The Acquisitions Sourcing Associate is responsible for sourcing acquisition content and managing vendor relationships for Sylvan Road Capital. This role is accountable for acquiring and implementing third-party feeds as well as managing the content relationships with all data providers including Property Management Software Companies, Property Management Companies, MLSs, Associations and Brokers.
The Acquisitions Sourcing Associate will work directly with the Director of Off Market Sourcing to ensure quality and efficiency of off market asset sourcing. The Associate and team will be held responsible for developing sources for potential off market channels to maximize acquisitions volume of individual single-family residential.
· Partner with Sr. Management to develop and execute the business development strategy for all off market content. Manage partner relationships including PMS Companies, PMCs, MLSs, Associations and Brokers, public data, lead generating partners and industry participants.
· Source, negotiate and license data assets including off market and MLS data feeds as well as build a national sales strategy and marketing campaign to secure broker participation.
· Oversee the business development cycle and account management of all vendor content partnerships including contract negotiations, pricing and evaluation of current and potential partnerships.
· Partner closely with Acquisition Data Analysts on content acquisition, customer service excellence and technical support. Foster open communication, transparency and the highest level of integrity, trust and collaboration.
· Liaise closely with the Data Solutions/Development Group to ensure the effective onboarding and processing of new and existing feeds.
· Ensure all systems and processes are documented in accordance with Sylvan Road Capital regulations.
· Create, maintain and execute marketing campaigns.
· Identify workflow efficiency gains. Partner with Sr. Management to resolve issues resulting from transaction delays.
· Oversee report automation and data intake algorithms.
· Track adoption and company revenue KPIs.
· Develop and maintain data validations to ensure accurate and timely data transfers.
· Work with key stakeholders to resolve integration issues and continue to enhance the Sylvan Road Capital integration process.
REQUIREMENT KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE
· Bachelor’s degree or equivalent Specialization in Business, Finance or Real Estate highly preferred
· Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in data sourcing, validation, processing and analysis
· Proven leadership ability and extensive business development experience managing strategic accounts
· Extensive account and project management experience, including implementations and negotiating content partnerships with 3rd party data providers
· Strong and proven business acumen and the ability to articulate and execute corporate strategy
· Results orientated and the ability to run a metrics driven operation
· Highest level of communication, information and transparency
· Experience in change management and ability to adapt quickly in a technology-led environment
· Financial awareness and experience of working within budgets
· Experience and advanced level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, financial modeling and analysis
