Job Description

We are looking for Summer Interns to participate in the development of a core software component responsible for orchestrating inventory into the Symbotic system and order fulfillment out of the system. We are seeking individuals who thrive in a creative, collaborative and agile development environment.

Responsibilities: 

• Contribute to a distributed architecture built on .NET using multi-threaded and multi-processor concepts.
• Self-motivated, with an ability to learn quickly and independently, and work in a dynamic Agile/Scrum-based environment on cross functional and remote teams.
• Support the design and development of high-quality software using some of the following: C#, SQL, WCF, LINQ, ASP.NET, RabbitMQ, Redis, and Docker.
• Work in a fast-paced environment and support unscheduled events.

Qualifications

• Object oriented design and programing concepts, C# or Java is preferred.
• Data platforms including relational databases (SQL Server) and non-relational databases.
• Source code version control, unit testing, design and defect tracking tools.
• UML, OOD, Agile, multi-threading, multiprocessing, & SW/HW integration.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
