Synapse Construction is a premier exterior construction company that has been local for over 10 years! We specialize in custom siding and windows, painting, and exterior maintenance for both residential and commercial applications.

.Job Basics:1. Lead a crew of 2-5 Siders/laborers on 1-2 jobs at a time (still have bags on while not supervising or reporting).2. First and foremost, you are responsible for keeping everyone safe. Next priorities are quality control, efficiency, & client satisfaction.3. Report daily hours for your crew, and provide updates to clients and management on job status/progress.4. Establish, communicate, and evaluate progress towards field goals, benchmarks, and established budgets.5. Job is M-F from 7 am - 4 pm, mostly in greater Seattle area.

What we require:

Valid Driver's license and reliable transportation

At least 2 years of experience as a Foreman/Lead Carpenter (experience in leading a siding/window crew is a major plus)

Professional track record of accountability and honesty (we check references)

If hired, pass a drug screen test, and background check

Able to lift 50 lbs., work in all weather conditions, and not be afraid of heights

Compliance with Covid-19 construction mandates (temperature taking, wearing a mask, safety glasses, sanitizing work stations, following quarantine regulations if necessary, and more)

Must have or obtain within first 30 days of employment: OSHA Certification and CPR/First Aid Certification. Must obtain Articulated Boom Lift Certification within the first year.

Additional responsibilities and duties:

Ability to come to work every day on time with a positive and professional attitude

Common daily tasks can include but are not limited to: site setup/prep, load· Every job is different and with each position comes different responsibilities but can include unload material, demolition, framing, install Weather Resistant Barrier (WRB-paper/house wrap), rain screen systems, windows & doors with proper flashings, cutting and installation of various types of siding (James Hardie, cedar, metal, and other various custom-made exotic pieces to name a few) deck remodeling, and site cleanup.

Lead Carpenter must have great communication, people, and management skills. Must be able to interpret blueprints, specifications, and keep the job site clean and safe.

Lead Carpenter must also be competent with computers and email communication for daily reporting, time tracking, and change orders
