    We are looking for a Logistics Analyst for a government project in Arlington, VA.

    Provides program management and operational support performing and documenting physical inventory audits and asset management. This work includes but not limited to conducting physical inventory audits for DoD customers within the National Capital Region (NCR); the current infrastructure includes approximately ~1,200 physical locations and approximately 17,808 – however these numbers are subject to change over the life of the contract.

    Schedule and conduct planning, initial, and follow-on meetings for current and future customer inventory audits. The contractor shall provide monthly inventory audit reports IAW Government format.

    Tasks include but are not limited to:

    • Develop, deliver, and brief (as required) an inventory/audit schedule, inventory/audit plan, and estimated cost (if applicable) to the ITA Government representative for review and consideration.

    • Support ITA by facilitate or attend inventory/audit plans, schedules, and follow-on pre- planning and execution meetings with customers as required.

    • When performance is required at non-secure locations the contractor shall conduct and document the 100% inventory/audit consistent with the preapproved inventory/audit schedule and plan.

    • When performance is required in secure areas/locations the contractor shall provide an advance list of all contractor personnel that will be involved in performing inventory/audits; the list will include the full name of each contractor personnel by date(s) and locations of performance. Develop and provide a list to the JSP and the customer government point of contact NLT 3 business days prior to the start of a scheduled inventory/audit.

    • Use a Government preapproved inventory/audit schedule and inventory/audit plan with an inventory/audit processes to document a complete a 100% inventory/audits.

    • Brief the Government upon completion of each 100% inventory/audit; to include performing and documenting reconciliation between the inventory sheets and customer billing accounts and providing JSP with a properly marked customer account disk.

    • Facilitate or attend customer meetings to review the findings noted within reconciliation report, customer account disk, and recommendations based on the reconciliation report. The reconciliation report shall include unused numbers over extended periods, numbers the customer’s may not have included in their inventory that if disconnected could represent cost savings.

    • Save an electronic version of the inventory/audit, findings, and recommendations by the customer billing account code in the designated folder(s).

    Background Experience:

    Minimum 3+ years logistic and telephone inventorying and auditing experience.

    2 years of college, technical or vocational school in telecommunications or related field (and combination of education, training, or experience)
