    SUMMARY:

    Synaptic Solar is looking for a full-time Field Recruiter to join our Human Resources Team! The Field Recruiter is responsible for all the staffing needs in our Houston and McAllen locations (or any south region). We are looking for an individual who is self-driven, people-oriented, and has a passion for finding the best talent!

    Our principal office is located in the Jersey Village area near beltway and 290.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Design and implement an overall recruiting strategy
    • Prepare recruitment materials and post jobs to appropriate job boards/newspapers/colleges, etc.
    • Source and recruit candidates by using databases, job boards, social media, etc.
    • Screen candidates resume and job applications
    • Conduct interviews using various reliable recruiting and selection tools/methods to filter candidates within schedule
    • Assess applicants’ relevant knowledge, skills, soft skills, experience, and aptitudes
    • Onboard new employees in order to become fully integrated
    • Monitor and apply HR recruiting best practices
    • Provide analytical and well documented recruiting reports to the rest of the team
    • Act as a point of contact and build influential candidate relationships during the selection process
    • Coordinate with Senior Managers, Department Head's and the HR Team for current or future staffing needs.
    • Create staffing reports for upper management

    QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:

    • Must have experience with high-volume construction or general labor recruitment
    • Must be people-oriented and have excellent customer service skills
    • Must be organized and be familiar with scheduling
    • Must have outstanding communication skills
    • Must be able to communicate with all levels of personnel
    • Must have hands-on experience with various selection methods (phone screening, in-person interviewing, video calls, etc.)
    • Must have strong decision-making skills
    • Must be able to travel 50% to 60% of the time
    • Must have a valid driver's license
    • Bilingual (English and Spanish) a plus but not required

    SCHEDULE:

    Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM. Afterhours and/or weekends as required.

    PAY RATE:

    $45,000 to $50,000 yearly salary depending on experience; there is an opportunity for career advancement.
