SUMMARY:

The Permitting Department is responsible for assuring the installation projects are approved by the city or country prior to installation. As a Permitting Representative, you conduct permit submissions and plan review activities of applicable permits based on the requirements of each city. This includes checking for completeness and compliance with applicable local requirements and providing updates on any development processes, codes, ordinances, and permit requirements. Constant communication with cities and Project Managers. Maintenance of a variety of records for the department related to on-going and past permitting activities and preparing a variety of reports related to the department’s activities.

GENERAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Constant communication with city representatives
• Submitting projects to the appropriate cities
• Monitoring status of project's approvals
• Using the SmartSheets to input status updates on permitting requirements

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Excellent communication skills
• Organization and prioritizing skills 
• Must be a self-starter and self-sufficient 
• Must be a quick learner
• Experience with SmartSheets or any other spreadsheet program
• Engineering, Construction, or Business related degree preferred but not required

SCHEDULE:

Monday to Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM

PAY RATE:

$14 to $16 depending on experience and qualifications
