    Position Summary -  What you will do:

    The Sr. Manager, Product & Channel Marketing role will be focused on helping build our direct, channel partner and vertical industry revenue streams.  

    This position is based on our Denver, Colorado HQ, and will report to the Vice President of Marketing, while also working closely with the CEO. Ideal candidates have the experience to work independently, take projects & programs from ideation through execution and measurement, and be highly productive.

    Primary Responsibilities include four main areas of expertise: 

    Product Marketing & Positioning:

    1. ·      Create the product and channel marketing strategy & plan including methods for market penetration, customer acquisition, and channel expansion
    2. ·      Develop market positions, messages and marketing campaigns for target segments such as direct end customers, vertical industries, channel partners, etc.
    3. ·      Define target segments and buyer personas for marketing and sales outreach
    4. ·      Perform marketing competitive analysis and the development of competitive selling tools 
    5. ·      Perform market, customer, and competitive research to differentiate SyncHR’s HCM platform, as well as to anticipate competitive response

    Product Life-Cycle Communications:

    1. ·      Drive creation of direct sales and channel partner facing messaging and communications throughout product life cycles
    2. ·      Develop and manage product launch marketing GTM plan & communications
    3. ·      Define product positioning and key messages, to develop product data sheets, sales aids and key messages for external stakeholders (analysts, media, customers, prospects & channel partners)

    Product Marketing Tactics & Materials:

    1. ·      Develop tactical marketing plans delivering the proper product positioning via specific activities, campaigns and programs (social media, webinars, events, videos, etc.)
    2. ·      Work cross-functionally to create product marketing materials and channel partner toolkits (data sheets, partner briefs, presentations, digital assets, etc.)
    3. ·      Measure, report, evaluate, and optimize the effectiveness of our product marketing programs 

    Sales Enablement:

    1. ·      Create and deliver sales & channel partner marketing and messaging training to ensure the properly presentation and positioning of our HCM platform to prospects
    2. ·      Create sales enablement materials such as standard presentations, data sheets, industry briefs, videos, messaging guides, etc.
    3. ·      Develop additional sales tools as needed that align with the ideal sales process and typical buying process – both low touch and high touch.
    4. ·      Generate monthly reports based on meaningful metrics, key indicators, strategic observations, etc.

    Position Qualifications -  About You:

    The ideal candidate is a results-oriented strategic thinker, with an exceptional blend of multi-audience communication (great writing skills), with a deep passion for product marketing supporting HCM products/or SaaS Enterprise Software products. Must have a demonstrated knowledge of the human capital management market landscape. Additionally, this role requires the skills and ability to plan, manage, and execute "go-to-market strategy", overall product marketing programs and product launches, and develop related sales enablement campaigns, and initiatives.

    A minimum of 8-10 year's previous experience in a Product Marketing Mgmt role is required, coming from either the HCM or SaaS vertical. This should include the demonstrated ability to create "go-to-market" strategies that drive business growth by articulating key value propositions for complex HCM or B2B SaaS products, while building both brand awareness and demand. 

    Requirements Include: 

    • 8-10+ years of progressively responsible product market development experience, including direct responsibility for product marketing strategy & execution, promotion development & execution, and channel partner marketing. (This should include primary experience in HCM Software, or preferably either SaaS or Enterprise Software.)
    • Strong technical skills and experience working with marketing programs and technology tools such as HubSpot, Web CMS system, Salesforce CRM, Camtasia and others.     
    • Demonstrated success in growing product line revenues, with the ability to share examples of strategies that you implemented to achieve those results. 
    • Demonstrated expertise in negotiating competing priorities from multiple internal and external stakeholders
    • Proven market and competitive analysis ability that results in understanding and prioritizing customer needs to map to product positioning, pricing, messaging and functionality
    • Strong collaboration and project management skills – and an ability to work effectively with different people within an organization (technical, salespeople, strategists)

    • Must have portfolio of developed materials and results to show during interview process
