  • Responsibilities

    Job Description

    • Brainstorm with Clients, Business Development teams and internal teams to develop ideas that transform generic, text-heavy presentations into more graphically engaging, concise, and interactive experiences 
    • Create compelling infographics that transform words and data into impactful visuals 
    • Collaborate with account teams and subject matter experts to quickly address their needs 
    • Quickly respond and interpret creative direction and multiple edits under tight deadlines 
    • Must be comfortable managing multiple projects and expectations while communicating directly with key stakeholders 
    • Demonstrate expert level in PowerPoint including use of multiple masters, color themes, animations, chart creation, actions, embedded multimedia/videos and optimization
    • Present work, provide design rationale, and defend work in creative reviews or meetings
    • Partner with editorial staff, producers, creative, copy, accounts, and studio personnel to produce high-quality presentation materials
    • Acute attention to detail with emphasis on accuracy, quality and a critical eye for design
    • Collaborate with external vendors as needed to ensure quality is being maintained
    • Participate in onsite pitch rehearsals and meetings as well as travel to new business meetings with the presenting team; oversee and run the technology set-up, slide review, and setup/breakdown support for offsite meetings as needed 
    • Provide expert guidance and best practices for delivering internal/external presentations via online conference platforms (such as, WebEx, MS Teams and Zoom)

    KEY COMPETENCIES

    • Ability to think in abstract terms; can make connections between unrelated ideas; can formulate innovative concepts; is seen as original and value-added in brainstorming sessions
    • Demonstrate experience in consistently upholding brand standards while creating effective, dynamic, and well-thought-out presentations
    • In-depth knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud design software and MS Office Suite
    • Working knowledge of Prezi, Keynote, or other presentation platforms (eg, Ceros, Visme)
    • Understanding of After Effects, Editing and Video production is a plus
    • Strong creative design and conceptual skills
    • Must have strong time management and project management skills
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Strong analytical/problem solving skills
    • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
    • Ability to work under tight deadlines
    • Ability to work independently; self-motivated

  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • Degree in Visual Communication, Graphic Arts, or a related course of study is preferred
    • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Presentation Specialist or graphics professional in the medical communications or pharmaceutical field

    PREFERRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

    • Agency experience on pharmaceutical accounts preferred
    • Familiarity with agency workflow process

    WORKING CONDITIONS

    • Some travel required (2-3 times/year)
    • Ability to attend and conduct presentations
    • Overtime as required
