BASIC FUNCTIONS:
The Accounting Assistant is responsible for performing duties of Accounts Payable and Receptionist.
REPORTING RELATIONSHIP:
The Accounting Assistant will report directly to the Accounting Credit Manager.
Pay: $16+/hour DOE
Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
- Accounts Payables
- Answer incoming calls from customers
- Pass all messages on to recipient in a timely manner
- Maintain sales tax exemption database
- Scan documents for electronic filing
- Help to prepare bank deposits
- Input deposits into accounting system
- Track supplier/vendor insurance certificates
- Assist other departments with data entry as requested by Department Managers
- Assist Credit Manager with correspondence
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Credit Manager
- Assist with payroll paperwork
- Assist with job costing and job costing backup
REQUIREMENTS:
- Accounts Payable experience
- Microsoft Office
- Service Industry experience preferred
